Ultrasound systems

X-Phase offers tried-and-tested, versatile solutions. The projects listed below are examples of our manufacturing capabilities: each component is a ‘technology building block’ that we can adapt and integrate to address your specific challenges.

Ultrasonic systems: synergy between electronics and transduction

When designing ultrasonic systems, efficiency and reliability depend on the perfect harmony between the generator and the acoustic load. For this reason, we devote the utmost attention to optimising the electronics to suit the specific transducer used.

To ensure outstanding performance, we work in close collaboration with PASCAL Digital Ultrasound, a leading company in the sector with extensive experience gained through working alongside the world’s leading transducer manufacturers. This partnership enables us to tailor the electronics to the electromechanical characteristics of the resonant system, ensuring precise control that maximises energy efficiency and guarantees process stability.

NDTUS

This board is the ideal choice for NDT applications, whether in laboratory settings or industrial installations. The network interface and PoE (Power over Ethernet) power supply make it easy to integrate and use.

MUXUS

In situations requiring multiple measurement points or different inspection lines, the MUXUS board is the ideal extension for the NDTUS system, allowing for the management of up to 64 transducers. For even more complex configurations, two modules can be connected, expanding the scanning capacity and enabling advanced measurement modes such as Through-Transmission.

IDEFIX II

Building on X-Phase’s expertise in imaging, we present IDEFIX II, our all-in-one ultrasound solution. Thanks to its architecture featuring 256 independent channels and the power of the NVIDIA GPU, IDEFIX II transforms complex signals into high-resolution images within a single, compact hardware ecosystem.

The entire system is the result of in-house design by X-Phase: the hardware, firmware and software are developed and constantly updated by our highly specialised staff, ensuring complete control over the technology and its development.

The system offers maximum flexibility thanks to its full programmability via text files. Sensors with different pin-outs (provided they are electrically compatible) can be connected via dedicated mapping files, which link the system’s channels to the individual sensor components.
