Biomedical research

X-Phase has collaborated to the realization of a programmable ultrasound system, called ULA-OP, developed at the Microelectronic Systems Design Lab of the University of Florence - MSDLAB.

This instrument is intended for research applications and thus allows high flexibility and programmability, allowing the use of arbitrary waveforms, analysis and saving ultrasound data at various points of the acquisition chain, implementation of customized processing algorithms.

The 64 channels version, already present in many universities and research centers in Europe and North America, has recently been joined by a new more powerful version with 256 channels.

For more information see MSDLAB website pages on ULA-OP and ULA-OP 256.
